Downtown Holly Springs is a center for development with the Town Hall as its anchor. The 35,000 sq. ft. building was designed to model architecture of its 19^th century beginnings.

Whether it is the balance of commercial and residential growth, its reasonable land prices and proximity to urban centers, or its small-town charm, Holly Springs continues to attract new residents and businesses.

The Town's Parks and Recreation Department offers a variety of programs at local parks for families to play together. Parrish Womble Park provides baseball and soccer fields, playground equipment, a small fishing pond, a picnic shelter, an amphitheater, a paved walking trail, and areas for horseshoes and volleyball. Ninety-acre Bass Lake Park opened in 2004 with a lake stocked with fish. Canoes and small boats are available for rent. Enjoy scenic overlooks along the 1.25 walking trail.

Also noted for its seasonal festivals, the town hosts the popular Septemberfest with children's rides, concerts, arts and crafts, races, fireworks, and its highlight: the barbecue cookoff. The Town Chamber of Commerce hosts Main Street Christmas, where residents deck the Christmas tree at Town Hall, enjoy hayrides, and sing Christmas carols. Santa's lap is always full! The Happy Holly Days Parade down Main Street rounds out the holiday season.
